About the Author
Born in the heart of Louisiana’s Cajun Country, Monique Boutté Christina is the daughter of Mulate’s founder Kerry Boutté. In 1997, Christina postponed her degree to work full time in her family’s restaurant learning every position—from hostess to fry cook. Although she returned to Louisiana State University earning a BS, she is dedicated to the family business. Christina is the president and owner of Mulate’s: The Original Cajun Restaurant. Her daughter, high school student RENEE GRACE CHRISTINA, provides a poignant foreword.
