Lifelong farmer and professional outdoorsman Toby Benoit has dined on farm-raised meats and wild game all his life. Through his love for cooking, he has developed recipes and techniques designed to bring out the best flavors and textures from a cut of meat from field to table.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Benoit attended the University of Tampa. He is the owner of Rebel Yell Outdoors, which manufactures scents and game calls for big-game hunting. He acts as a big-game guide and contributes articles to publications such as Woods ’n Water, Turkey Call, and Outdoor Sports in the Southeast. He has appeared on numerous radio programs and local television shows, including The Big and Wild Outdoors, Trophy Taker Outdoors, Good Day Tampa Bay, Outdoors with Austin and Gunn, and The Big and Wild Outdoors.
Benoit is a member of Temple Terrace Masonic Lodge #330, the National Rifle Association, National Wild Turkey Federation, Ohio Camp Cooks, and Florida Cattlemen’s Association. A reader, writer, musician, poet, and history buff, Benoit resides in Inverness, Florida. |
