Chuck Malkus is a nationally recognized public relations executive and the president of Malkus Communications Group. One of the most accomplished news media experts in the United States, Malkus specializes in national media relations and crisis communications. His clients include the Broadway-style Havana Night Club—the Show and Advanced Green Technologies in addition to clients in the areas of law, finance, healthcare, and tourism. Malkus also serves as a speaker on a variety of topics, including crisis communications and media training.
Malkus has contributed to publications such as the Miami Herald, the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the South Dade News Leader, and CityView Magazine. He appeared on CNBC’s American Greed as an expert discussing Scott Rothstein’s Ponzi scheme. A community advocate, Malkus was inspired to write The Ultimate Ponzi: The Scott Rothstein Story in order to shed light on the South Florida Ponzi schemer.
Since the 1980s, Malkus has served on the board of directors for numerous South Florida organizations, including the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, the American Red Cross, and Neighbors 4 Neighbors, of which he was a founding co-chairman. Malkus resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with his wife, Sandra.
