Freelance travel writer Adrienne
Petterson is herself an avid explorer who prefers a meandering train ride
through scenic territory to the speed and anonymity of air travel. Raised in
South Africa, Ms. Petterson lived for many years in England, which was a
convenient home base for her trips around the British Isles and continental
Europe. Since moving to the United States, she experienced life in New England
while living in Providence, Rhode Island, and then turned her attention
westward. She currently lives in Fountain, Colorado, which gives her easy access
to California and the West coast, as well as America’s latest boomtown, Las
Vegas.
Adrienne Petterson attended Cape
Technikon College and Fairhills Academy in her native South Africa, as well as
Regent Academy in London. She has work experience in many aspects of magazine
publishing and web site design. As a freelance writer she has completed a huge
array of projects, including travel articles, celebrity interviews, book
reviews, crossword puzzles, screenplays, and poetry. An accomplished
photographer, she often takes the pictures that accompany her text.
