About the Author
Bill L. Little has taught at Washington University, University of Missouri in St. Louis, and Missouri Baptist College and has conducted conferences on alcoholism, marriage and family relations, stress, communications, management, and motivation. Making history as the first psychologist to be officially employed by a major league baseball team, Little served as sports psychologist and drug counselor for the St. Louis Cardinals and Seattle Mariners baseball teams in the early 1980s. He is the senior pastor of Christ Memorial Baptist Church in St. Louis, where he has served since 1959.
A native of Gideon, Missouri, Little has a BA from East Texas Baptist College, a ThM from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, an MS from Southern Illinois University, and a PhD from Washington University of Gideon, Missouri. A two-time Pelican author, he has also written Prevention: The Ultimate Cure. He resides in St. Louis with his wife, Teresa Gay, and is a father of four, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
