Kitty Morse, author of The California Farm Cookbook (9780882899114, $26.95), attended the International Fancy Food and Confection Show® for her famous farm-fresh recipes. The thirty-third annual Fancy Food Show® took place in the San Diego Convention Center in January. Morse is the author of nine cookbooks and has written articles for several culinary magazines including Cooking Light and Health. |

Kay Shaw Nelson, author of The Art of Scottish-American Cooking (9781589803862, $21.00), will be speaking at the Twelfth Annual Scottish Symposium in Williamsburg, Virginia. The event will be held at the College of William & Mary on Febuary 22 through February 24. The school, founded by Scotsman James Blair, is arranging for the Scottish Coalition USA to showcase its materials and memorabilia in the Swem Library archives. |

Dotti Enderle, author of The Cotton Candy Catastrophe at the Texas State Fair (9781589801899, $15.95), will sign at the first annual Pancakes & Pajamas Barnyard Bash in Sugar Land, Texas, on Saturday, February 9. Organized by the Fort Bend Junior Service League, the event will take place at the Honor Roll School on Sweet Water Boulevard, and the proceeds will benefit the ESCAPE Family Resource Center. The spring issue of Jewish Book World, available February 28, will feature a review of Haggadah Illuminated (9781589804951, $19.95), a Hebrew-language version of the Seder which memorializes the exodus from Egypt. Hand-written by Even Caredio with illustrations by Guglielomo Bigi Benajá, the Haggadah is read as part of Jewish Passover traditions. |
